Although Calpendo is good at retrieving information from its own database and using it in multiple ways sometimes it may help to bring in information from outside Calpendo.
This may include data such as a YouTube video perhaps on working with a specific machine or a Google Docs presentation or document on a crucial process within your facility.
As the means of doing requires a small amount of behind the scenes configuration this blog post is not going to cover the actual methodology of doing so. Instead I would just like to highlight the fact that this can be done.
In particular, if each record in a Biskit requires a reference to their own unique embed this can be done. For example if each resource required embedded content of a document covering how to use that resource this can be done.
As we find more sites which work well with Calpendo as embedded data we will add them to our Knowledge Base.
